This is an estimate. It leaves out taxes, failed pieces, returns and your time spent marketing. Formula: cost = material + consumables + energy (watts/1000 × minutes/60 × $/kWh) + (machine price / lifetime items) + labour + shipping + fixed fees; price = cost / (1 - fee% - margin%).
